Spark a Smile is a greeting card drive, to collect and distribute free, happy, handmade cards throughout Casa Grande, Arizona. The project was founded by Dr. Janelle Horsley in October 2009, when the City of Casa Grande’s CG Cares issued a challenge for local businesses to give back to the community.

Since then, Spark a Smile has hosted card-making parties every month at Yang and Horsley Dentistry, and collaborated to create cards with local organizations like Hospice Compassus, Cartridge World, and Legacy Traditional School. We’ve donated over 3,000 cards to organizations like the Casa Grande Alliance, Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, Meals on Wheels, the US Military, and Seeds of Hope!
